-DH Brad Fullmer, who has been in a slump since last year's all star break,
may be sent to AAA Dodge City for the first time in his career. Fullmer is
barely over the Mendoza line, hitting an anemic .202 so far this year, and
only has two homers. The only question for management is who to bring up to
take Fullmer's spot.
-Rookie 2B Frank Catalanotto, who has missed 10 games due to a foot injury
will be ready to come off the DL when his 15 days are up.
-After 28 games the club has only one stolen base.
-The club is looking to move OF Eric Owens and LHP Kirk Rueter in the next
few weeks. They are the two oldest players on the team. Owens has not had
an at bat yet this season. Rueter is 0-4 with a 4.71 ERA.
