Pending league approval, the Deadwood Outlaws have traded RHP Mariano Rivera
to Anchorage for OF Geoff Genkins, OF Lee Barker, RHP Art Danforth, and RHP
Marc Wilkins.
In related news, the Outlaws have released the following players: OF Kevin
Mitchell, OF John Herring, OF George Dinges, OF Tony Womak, and 1B Ryan
Jackson.
With the trade of Rivera, GM Phil Raisor has called up 23 year old RHP
Melvin Lowry to make his major league debut in the Outlaw's rotation.
Jenkins will most likely split time in left with Trot Nixon.
