PVBL: Deadwood Outlaws
Deadwood Players enjoying time off

December 6, 2000

For only the second time in PVBL history, the Deadwood Outlaws are not in the playoffs. However, that doesn't mean the players and coaches aren't having any fun. Here's an update on what the team members are doing with their free time.

-DH Brad Fullmer is studying hours and hours of tape from the 1999 season, trying to figure out what went wrong with his swing in 2000.

-Out-going manager Johnny Bench and returning manager Don Slaught are fighting over who owns the "Dog's Playing Poker" painting in the manager's office.

-RF Mike Dashiell and CF Trot Nixon are playing winter ball in Arizona.

-INF Chris Gomez is racing camels in the Mid-East.

-GM Philip Raisor was last seen sneaking over the Canadian boarder with a band of Gypsies.
