A new manager will be named today for the defending World Champion Deadwood
Outlaws at a 11am EST news conference at the league's IRC channel.
Don Slaught, who managed the team for two and a half seasons, asked for a
trade becasue he was interested in playing again. GM Phil Raisor wasn't
willing to use a roster spot for the 37 year old catcher.
Rumors have leaked that former Outlaw Manager Johnny Bench will be named the
new manager, and has been spotted at a downtown Deadwood saloon.
