Montreal has had some great tradition when it comes to big name
pitchers. In 1998, Randy Johnson won a Cy Young in Montreal. In 1997,
Roger Clemens was the ace of the staff. Now Ben McDonald, entering the
prime of his career, is expected to fill the position.
The new rotation:

2. Jack McDowell
3. Rheal Cormier
4. Arthur Rhodes
5. Armando Reynoso

Can McDonald help the Montreal Royals catch the Edmonton Sled Dogs?
Probably not. The Royals will wait patiently until the Free Agent draft
and then make their move in 2001.
