PVBL: Medina Mustangs
Mustangs Continue to Negotiate

December 8, 2000

The Medina Mustangs are continuing to negotiate a deal with Brownsville Free Agent Hugh Coleman.

"The problem is that we are waiting for Brownsville management to make Hugh a counteroffer. So far, we've heard nothing." said Mustang owner Randy Reese.

"It seems like they are not interested in keeping me, "said Coleman, "If they dont counteroffer, I'll be happy to go to Medina."

The Mustangs have also approached Brownsville Free Agent Gary Sheffield, in case the Coleman deal falls through. The Mustangs had been showing an interest in Spokane's Jim Thome, but was unable to match an offer by his present team.
