PVBL: Medina Mustangs
Mustangs Sign Draftee

November 27, 2000

The Medina Mustangs are close to reaching an agreement with their first free agent signee.

The Mustangs have reportedly offered Brownsville's third baseman Hugh Coleman a five year, $20,000,000 deal.

"Hugh fits into our plan perfectly, he is young and has a lot of potential. He'll be able to grow with the rest of the team." said Mustang owner Randy Reese.

The Mustangs had also reportedly been in negotiations with pitcher Jaret Wright and Robb Nen.

"Hitting is our priority, obviously." said Reese.

Reese was planning on saying more, but got tired of talking.
