Medina (AP) -In a rare event, the Mustangs won two in a row, beating
Mississauga 2-0 and 6-1.
In game 1, 4 pitchers combined for a seven hit shutout, and Hank Gill got his
first win in his first start of the season. Both of Medina's runs came on
solo shots by Jeff Kent and John Wojick.
In game 2, Jeff Kent hit his second home run in as many games, and Mike
Piazza went the distance as Steve Kline improved his record to 3-2.
There were many wonderful plays, and some great quotes after the game, but
this reporter is too lazy to write them.
