In what people may perceive as a surprise move, the Medina Mustangs acquired
Houston catcher Mike Piazza for their #1 pick in next years ammy draft, and
catcher Maxwell Miestro.
"Ironically, this comes right after people were whining about Medina's
inability to win games. Im sure those same whiners will think this was in
reaction to their complaints. However, this is really a finalization of the
deal that started two weeks ago, when Pat Hentgen was traded from Houston to
here." said Mustang owner Randy Reese.
Piazza will start immediately at the catcher position (obviously).
