Medina Mustangs owner Randy Reese called a press conference today and went on
a tirade after he was approached by league commissioner Matt Peck to discuss
concerns of other owners that Reese was purposely tanking the season.
"What the f**k is that supposed to mean?" screamed Reese at the noon press
conference, " How can I be tanking the f**king season when I have my best
players out there. I pull them for one f**king game, and its like I had them
in AAA for the whole season! Commissioner Peck said the big concern was I had
traded away my veterans for prospect. How the else are you supposed to f**king
rebuild? Am I supposed to wallow in mediocrity for years while I have one or
two good veterans? What a bunch of horesh*t! As anyone noticed the f**king
pitching staff I have now? Oh yeah, a whole bunch of prospects there. For some
reason the IQ's of many of our owners have gone below freezing. What a bunch
of f**king morons! How do they think I got a such a good staff? Do you think
maybe I had to sacrifice some hitting for it? DUH!. Here is what I have to say
to those idiots who are whining like bunch of babies to Mama Peck. Come
whining to me in two years, as Im kicking your pathetic asses all over the
field! By the way, to rub it in some more, I traded SS Aaron Ledesma to Tampa
Bay for 3B Mike Lowell. GUESS WHAT? He's another F**KING PROSPECT! F**K YOU!"
