Missisauga(AP)-After the dismal ending of the regular season, the Sled
Dogs continued their losing ways and were walloped in their 1st 2 games
of the Playoffs in Missisauga. But, last night, facing elimination, the
Sled Dog bats came alive and thumped the Maple Dogs 11-1. Pete Schourek
pitched 7.2 innings giving up 8 hits and only 1 earned run. The offence
was sizzling with everyone getting at least a hit. "We were awful in our
2 games in Edmonton." said Manager Alan Trammell."We've played better on
the road all year." Tonight it'll be Jose Rosado on the mound and if a
Game 5 is necessary, Tim Belcher will get the call. Belcher,a 20 game
winner, was horrid in Game 1 and would like nothing better than some
retribution in Game 5. Let's hope we get there.
