In a flurry of weekend activity, the new regime in Atlanta has worked to
put its own ace on the team acquired from Macon.
New GM Scott Kuschel said of his new acquisitions: Kent, Brandt,
Sularz, Cloude, Chen, Winn, and Abbott, "I really wanted to get some of
our own people in here. The place is starting to feel more like home."
Atlanta was active in the FA draft, acquiring three pitchers and a
good young outfielder. Now, it seems the pieces are largely in place
for Atlanta's inaugural season in the PVBL.
