Dan Shapiro, Punxatawney owner, had more remarks for the press today about
draftee J.D. Drew:
"We aren't surprised at all by this news of Drew refusing to play until
2000. He probably figures he can get more money. Just another reason why
we won't draft him. He's a overconfident, audacious brat who isn't worth
the uniform he wears.
J.D. Drew, if someone drafts you, hope they are from the EL. Because if you
ever come to Punxatawney, you won't leave."
