RHP Todd Stottlemyre has probably pitched his last game as an Outlaw, as the
Motor City Madmen defeated the Outlaws 6-3. Stottlemyre has been
inconsistent since returning to the Outlaws, and GM Philip Raisor has had
enough. Raisor has ordered field manager Don Slaught to remove Stottlemyre
from the rotation, replaced by Rick Reed, and Raisor will trade Stottlemyre
after the season.
"Frankly, he's been terrible," said Raisor when asked about Stottlemyre's
performance. "And no I don't think I'm over-reacting!"
