(Deadwood, SD)..Finally some good news for Outlaw fans. CF Steve Finley has
been activated from the Disabled List after taking a month off due to a
hyper-extended knee.
Outlaws Manager Don Slaught, will probably go with the following lineup:
1. Roberto Alomar 2B
2. Steve Finley CF
3. Brad Fullmer LF
4. Rafael Palmerio 1B
5. Travis Fryman SS
6. Scott Brosius 3B
7. Mike Stanley C
8. Chris James DH
9. Chris Gomez RF
"This is as good of a lineup that there is in the league, and it's without
Eric Davis and Cecil Fielder," said GM Philip Raisor. "I feel like this
lineup can, and will, take us to the World Series. We've also got one of
the best bullpens in PVBL history [Myers, Charlton, Taylor, and Leskanic],
and a strong Rotation."
There is an off chance that Raisor will make a last minute deal, but Raisor
hasn't been approached about any possible trades for a few days, and it
appears any previous talks are dead. "I was talking to a club about
bringing in a 20 homer type player, but after my last offer, I never heard
back from him. I'm guessing that there are some clubs that will be trying
to unload some high priced players, and we will be listening to offers, but
I probably won't be on the offensive myself"
