Vicious Attacks on Davis and Fielder! August 7, 1999
Outlaw superstars, OF Eric Davis and DH Cecil Fielder were both attacked in
between innings today by masked thugs while both were stretching before
coming onto the field. Davis has suffered a life threathening broken neck
while Fielder's back was severely damaged.
Authorities suspect illegal aliens from Canada in the attack, but no arrests
have been made.
