A Loveland Reporter-Herald reporter was sitting outside Larimer
Knights owner John Dybala's office waiting for an interview with the
owner who has seemingly disappeared as his team goes down the
toilet. Suddenly, a loud argument broke out nearby that ended with
team VP of Operations Linda Bechberger storming out of a nearby
office in tears, walking briskly into the owner's office, and then
storming out. As the reporter entered the owner's office, a small
glint of light caught his eye. Sitting on Dybala's desk was an
engagement ring.
The next morning, the team announced that Dybala will be talking
with other PVBL teams in the near future in an effort to return the
team to its former glory. It was also announced that Bechberger
has left the club for a managerial position with a Fortune 500
company. There was no confirmation of a rumor that the company
is McDonald's and Bechberger will be returning to her former
position as a crew manager at a McDonald's in Fort Collins.
Asked if she would be returning to the team, Dybala shrugged. "I
don't know. That's the best answer I can give you right now. Now if
you'll excuse me, I have a lot to do."
