Clemens to Face Former Mates in McCoy July 14, 1999
Hartford (AP)- Roger Clemens has returned to the EL's McCoy Division in
another surprising trade this week on the heels of a flurry of All-Star
Break transactions. After trading away Big Mac for the right to Bobby
Witt's services, Hartford went out and landed another successful PVBL
starter in Clemens. Here's the deal:

Clemens is 33 yrs old, Cunnane is 21 yrs old. Cunnane finished in the Top
5 in the EL last season, his rookie year, with 22 saves. He looks to be a
promising future starter. Clemens, meanwhile, is looking for someplace to
finish his career.
