Edmonton(AP)-GM Sculac today acquired slugger Greg Vaughn from Anchorage
today, and in return he sent cf Cliff Floyd and his 1st Round FA pick to the
Abominations. "Vaughnies power will help us. Also, with our young
Outfield(Cruz Jr., Guerrero, and Garrett Anderson)he'll help with his
experience." Vaughn is expected to become the Teams DH. "I would rather be
in the Outfield, but I'll help the Oil KIngs out any way I can." stated
Vaughn. "Man, am I gonna have to wear my Long Johns playing up there?"
