The Frogs had an unfortunate loss in the playoffs last week in Galena. New
Diggens didn't just loose a game that day, they lost their GM Leon Durham
to the state pen for 10 yrs!
"Leon did a great job this year, bringing in alot of new faces and taking
us to our first playoff apearance ever," says Bonds. "He just wasn't any
old GM, he damn near took us from worst to first!"
Players and fans were crying as they put Leon in hand-cuffs and drug him
away to bus heading to the State Pen.
"After all of the stress of loosing the first round of the playoffs, Leon
deceided he was going to get rid of the pain." says Vance Law (Coach) And
that remidy for the pain was Crack Cocain. "He would have gotten away with
it, but he bought it from an under cover cop."
"Leon Promissed me he would keep his nose clean for the rest of the season,
but I had a feeling that soon after it was over he would be his normal self
once again," said Rhett Foley. "We all knew that Leon had this problem,
but its sad that It had to happen after an excellent year like this."
"I'm not going to look for another GM this year. Actually Leon is going to
get his bonus for his great work with the team and will be asked to help
again next year," said Rhett Foley. "Lets just hope Leon can run things
behind the bars of his jail cell, maybe he will make some new friends there
or recrute some new prospects."
