(AP) Ann Arbor - The Ann Arbor AllKnighters announced today that they
are taking on a new member to their front office. Terry Wright has
joined the team and will be applying his talent in a number of ways. He
will be an assistant to GM Michael Kennedy and head scout.
"We think that this will help our team in the long run. It will help
in the obvious, giving fresh and new perspectives on things, but we also
think we'll benefit in other ways, " said Kennedy, "Where as I am a
shrewd and determined dealer when marketing the teams wares, we think
Wright is more flexible and in some cases, easier to deal with. This
should help both us in building toward the team's future and other teams
in dealing with the AllKnighters, having another pair of ears to talk
to."
Wright brings nearly ten years of player management experience to the
team and should have no problems jumping right in feet first. While
final OK and confirmation for all trades will still come from GM
Kennedy, Wright is authorized to talk trade and negotiate while also
lending help in the team's everyday activities.
"I'm excited about joining a team that is on the way up. I get to get
in on the ground floor where my experience and abilites can be more
readily used, " added Wright.
