PVBL: Washington Sea Dogs
Washington's Levels Of Frustration

July 30, 1998

(AP) WASHINGTON, D. C.--The Washington Sea Dogs, and general manager Aaron Weiner, have had enough.

"Yeah, sure, we're glad we got to start Ben McDonald four times in ten days. Yeah, we like the fact that Big Mack went two more times. Yeah, we're pleased about the results.

"But to see the league go down like this...it's frustrating."

Washington's plans? Sit back and wait.

"We understand we can't do anything about this. At least we get to manager the Palookas a while over in AVBL."

Washington, who has been one of the hottest teams in the league since June, would be willing to reset back to June.

"If the .arc file works, I'm willing to go there. I have the most to lose, really - like my whole lead, etc.

"Teams like Phoenix, Vero Beach: they have nothing to lose."
