(DEADWOOD, SD)...Sources close to the team have revealed that Deadwood GM
Philip Raisor is close to making at least one, possibly two, more trades.
It is believed that All Star RHP Roger Clemens may be on his way out of town.
Earlier today, Raisor pulled the trigger on a deal that sent OF Al Martin
and C Javier Lopez (along with two minor league players and a draft pick)
to Thunder Bay for OF Bernie Williams and LHP Denny Neagle.
Deadwood is only three games out of first in the McCoy division, but is
also .500, and has been most of the season. This shakeup of the team has
been brought on due to the lackluster attendence at Hitchcock Stadium.
