PVBL: Medina Mustangs
Medina Trades for Future

August 31, 1998

The Mustangs made a trade for what could be the final piece of their future dynasty. Jay Buhner packed his bags and headed for the left coast. In return, Sacremento sent prospect outfielder John Wojick and infielder Butch Huskey, plus a draft consideration.

"Whew! What a team we will have in a couple of years!" says owner Randy Reese."

Reese is known to be taking offers for starting pitcher Rheal Cormier before the deadline.
