PVBL: Edmonton Oilers
All Quiet In Edmonton

December 19, 1998

Edmonton(AP)- Things have been eerily quiet in Edmonton these days. After last seasons disappointing finish, rumours were running rampant that GM Sculac would be moving players. But so far, nothings happened. "I'll listen to any offers. Anyone on this Club is tradable. Yes, we folded like a cheap tent near the end of last season, but I like this nucleus. Acquiring vets like Chuck Finley and Pete Schourek will benefit us this coming year. Both will play a full season. With Hundley catching, Tony Clark at 1st, Cora at 2nd, Nomar at ss, Cruz Jr, Vladdie Guerrero, and Tim Salmon in the of, this is a good young club. And the hiring of Alan Trammell as Manager...I can't wait for the start of the season!"
