PVBL: Binghampton Mets
Rivalry with Vero Beach Deepens

March 10, 1998

The Binghamton Mets are looking forward to their second season in the PVBL. After losing a close wild card race last year, Owner Jason Garnar held a press conference for the people of Binghamton, NY. In the conference, Mr. Garnar stated had many things to say.

On last year: "We could have done so much better. Vero Beach played had a hell of a season, but their luck is up. This year, it's gonna be all us".

On the deepening rivalary between his team and Vero Beach: "I'll tell you something about Vero Beach. We're gonna scare the hell out of them this year. Their players are getting old and aging, and they don't have the horses to play with us. Not to mention the fact that they're a bunch of %$#^*^% wussies who get injured all the time."

On the Punxatawney Groundhogs: "I've got one word for them. Choke."

Garnar also stated that the number one goal for his team was a world series championship. According to him, anything else is unacceptable.
