Supposed All-Star Holds Press Conference July 31, 1997
Mo Vaughn spoke out in a press conference today about something that had been bothering him for some time, the all star game. After being chosen to play in the all star game, Mo was honored. However after the game he lost all respect for the all star game and its poor management. "Ryan George made a huge mistake." Mo claimed. "It's pretty sad when one of the Enterprise League's top offensive player sits the bench the entire all star game and watchs while John Smiley plays first in place of myself. Granted, I have missed a few games but this years all star game was nothing more than a mockery of the entire PVBL. I mean come on. Larry Walker at 3rd. Robin Ventura in centerfield??? I'm not quite sure what the hell to think about the whole think but I'm really upset. The all star game is supposed to be an honor, not a joke."
