PRESS RELEASE...
THIS JUST IN!!!
Hartford Whalers Owner/GM/Manager Jeremy Chrabascz was reportedly so irate that left-handed setup man, Tony Fossas blowing their two-run lead and losing the club's second game of the season to Anaheim that he has immediately sent Fossas down to AAA, Glastonbury indefinitely. Chrabascz and Fossas reportedly had a heated exchange immediately following today's game and Chrabascz is considering dealing, if not dropping, Fossas from the franchise altogether. Experience lefty, Tony Saunders, was later brought up from AAA Glastonbury to immediately fill Fossas' role as setup man.
Chrabascz is apparently so distraught with the "thinness" of his pitching staff when you go beyond Maddux and Rosado that he has placed 2B Bip Robets, LF Vince Coleman, CF Curtis Goodwin and is entertaining the idea of shopping Vizcaino,Dykstra and Rogers.
