HARTFORD, CONNECTICUT

The following information was requested by the league office:

  • 1.) Team Name- WHALERS
  • 2.) Team Hometown- HARTFORD
  • 3.) Name of Park- Travellers Park
  • 4.) Modelled after- Skydome and Camden Yards...nice brick with a retractable roof
  • 5.) Colors- Navy, Green & White (The "W" whale symbol similar to the now defunct hockey franchise as well.) Jerseys and pants white with Navy trim...green symbol...hats navy with green symbol

    • Jeremy decided that Hartford was still a respectable market, especially for baseball and wanted to restore some excitement and pride in his hometown.
