The team has yet to be named and rumors of a franchise move have already been reported out of camp. The organization has already been busy, however, in its infant hours as a team...The following players have been release/placed on waivers:
Pitchers: J. Hensiek, E. Richter, J. Frascatore, J. Brantley, and B. Groom
OAKLAND is attempting to come to terms with the following free-agent acqusitions (upon league office approval, of course): Pitchers: Butch Henry, Stan Belinda, Lee Smith, Jesse Orosco and Tony Fossas
ATTENTION FELLOW OWNERS: Catcher Terry Steinbach is apparently on the trading block and Oakland is apparently eagerly seeking another catcher and is willing to deal.
