Galena carried a 6-2 lead into the bottom of the ninth inning when the Skulls loaded the bases for Manny Ramirez and Ramirez came through with a game-tying grand slam. In the top of the tenth, Galena scored 2 runs and took a 2 run lead into the bottom of the tenth. Edgardo Alfonso scored on a double by Angel Sherid and jose Valintin ended the game with a 2- run homer. G.M. Ryan george had this to say, " This was the most exciting game of the year, Manny really came through for us, I think that was the biggest hit of the year for any of our players.
