Skulls Win Game, Lose Ramirez

In the final game of the week the Brooklyn Skulls defeated Tuscon 18-8 but (and I bet a lot of you have probably guessed it already) the Skulls suffer another injury. In the game, Manny Ramirez went 3-4 with 3hr's and 8 rbi, in that game alone, but he had to leave the game with a sore knee. Ramirez wasn't put on the DL but he probably wont play next week. GM Ryan George had his to say," It seems like every game I'm expecting somone else to get injured and it happenes. This is very frustrating. We have a lot of depth, so most of the injuries didn't hurt a lot but the injury to Manny hurts us a lot because he leads the team in hr's and rbi. Going into next week, we just have to hope theat our pitching can give us quality starts and we can win games 4-2." To replace Ramirez the skulls called up shanon Stewart.

The Skulls finished the week on a 4-game winning streak and finished the week 4-2 overall. They now are 12-9 and have a 1 game lead over 2nd place Bellingham. The player of the week was Manny Ramirez who hit 5 hr's in the week.

Thats all untill next week when I get to tell you about more major injuries on the Brooklyn Skulls.
